Happy New Year

We hope all of you have had a great Christmas and you enjoy a very happy and healthy 2014.

We had a fairly busy time over the festive period with lots of guests coming and going, we some some old faces and lots of new faces.  We hope everyone had a great break and you were all warm and comfortable in our accommodation, despite the weather!!!

It has been the wettest and windiest December Ian & I have ever known and it doesn’t look as if it has to change any time soon.  A few guests hoped to get some skiing down over the last week but there only seems to be 1 or 2 days where that’s been possible, along the rain the high winds have made it very difficult and the Nevis Range even had quite a bit of damage to its chairs and ski tows www.nevisrange.co.uk

We managed out for a couple of walks in between the rain and wind, we went over to Glencoe and walked up the Pap of Glencoe path for a little while and came back down and walked along the new path from The Clachaig www.clachaig.com to Glencoe village.  It is a lovely path and great for a nice stroll which keeps you off the single track road!

We also ventured along the road just past the Seafood Cafe www.lochlevenseafoodcafe.co.uk and found a really interesting walk, where we saw some great waterfalls, the benefits of all the rain!! With great views over the Loch,  it was a nice easy walk for New Years Day!View over Loch Leven
