End of another busy year!

Well its that time of year again, can’t actually believe we are into November, when we close up for the winter, we saw our lasts guests away on Saturday (27th Oct) and we won’t be welcoming new ones until Sat.30th March 2019.  A long “closed” period for us this year, as we won’t be opening at Christmas & New Year or the February school holidays.  We decided to have our Christmas to ourselves this year and go and visit family etc.  We can winterise the chalets, turn the water off, do deep cleaning, any maintenance required, painting etc.

We’ve already been busy and taken down the old porch at the back of Tiranui Cottage, it was never put up correctly by the previous owners and was in a poor state of repair.  So we just have the wall do do some work on, and re varnish the table, get some nice planters and a new BBQ and it will be a great spot for some outside dining, all ready for new guests next year!

The chalets will be all fresh and shiny for the new season next year, so give us a call 01855 821272 or send us an email enquiries@glencoeselfcatering.co.uk for information on special offers or availability.  Check out our website Loch Leven Holidays https://www.glencoeselfcatering.co.uk

Its been a very busy year and the area has seen huge amounts of visitors, we think probably one of our busiest years since we took over in 2002.  We have seen a lot of Europeans (particularly German, Dutch & French) staying with us.  This may have something to do with the sterling dropping and the Europeans getting more for their money!

We had our first serious dusting of snow a couple of weeks ago and I’m sure there’s more to come!  Keep your eyes on the ski slopes https://www.glencoemountain.co.uk  https://www.nevisrange.co.uk if you fancy visiting the area for a bit of skiing over the next few months.

A huge thank you to all our guests who have stayed with us this year, its been lovely seeing so many familiar faces, we look forward to welcoming you back very soon!
